I hate this series almost too much to joke about. Almost.Spoilers from books 1 & 2.I am pleased that my first book series of the year has taken the initiative and already found me my most unlikable protagonist of 2016. Because I really, *really* genuinely hope that I never read another series where I am stuck in the head of such an unlikable creature. In the first book Jessica was pretty sympathetic, what with not being able to sleep without literal torture. Then came the second book and eve [...]

Omigod! Omigod! I freaking loved this bookwhat am I saying I freaking loved this series!!!! This is the first series since I read Twilight that I have given all the books in the series five stars. This series was just so emotional. I really thought that we were going to lose one of the main characters at the end of the book. I was just so hysterical. Usually I would fling my book at the wall but I was reading my Kindle and if I threw that at the walllet's just say my parents would not be the hap [...]

Vindicated continues to follow Alex and Jessica in their quest for a normal, happy life together. Alex is still an angel, and the call from the other side is getting stronger. Jessica now knows that she can’t die, that she is more angel than human, but she’s still at a loss for how to use this fact to her advantage. Will the two of them beat death and find their happily ever after or will Jessica be forced to spend an eternity without Alex as he finishes his job on the other side of life? WO [...]

What a repeat of the last two books this was. I knew right away that Emily was going to give her kidney to Austin's sister. I don't know why that was left hanging as long as it was, it was not a surprise. Nor was Sal being on the council. I have to say I was actually pissed that Alex was sent back. I think it would have been better if both Jessica and Alex ended up in the afterlife. I mean, Jessica already had two life extensions. I really didn't like Jessica in this book. She was not mature eno [...]

This was a good closing the Jessica and Alex's story. The characters grew in their experiences, and while the outcome was what I had expected, the process by which the characters reached that ending was a twist that I hadn't seen coming. Again, the main reason I cannot give this book five stars is because of the spelling and grammatical errors that ran rampant throughout the novel. These errors ("you're" instead of "your," as one example) were so avoidable if even one person had gone through thi [...]

This book & the rest of the series where I seriously cannot believe i had never heard to this until a few days ago when i picked up the first as an amazon freebie. The Fall of Angelstrilogy has been by far been the most "different" Angel series I've read. :) I was a little hesitant at first but I really enjoyed this read. I loved the character development and all of the twists and turns in the story. I just love Alex and Cole! The ending was great! Not perfect but perfect for the characters!! I definitely recommend this book it certainly had a different take on Angels.

There r only so many novels that leave me smiling and speechless in the end. The whole Fall of The Angels trilogy was brilliantly written, and summing up all the three booksa wonderful story! a well deserved 5/5 star book or rather , 5 million stars.

Last in the Fall of Angels series. The book doesn't disappoint. Still a bit tame but suitable for the audience it's geared towards. I think this would make a great film or mini series.

A good end to the series. Much better than I expected, and hard to put down this wrapped everything up nicely while seeming fairly realistic.

This was a good final book to one of my new favorite trilogies. I was very happy that of course Alex and Jessica got their happy ending and that Emily is not alone and is on the road to redemption which was confirmed by her having the nightmares again. Sal's death completely devastated me and the moment Alex was pulled back to the afterlife, I was crying buckets. Excellent writing, especially on that part. I felt everything Jessica was feeling and I have to give her credit, I would have probably [...]

I'm gonna copy and paste my review onto each, I devoured this story so fast it was literally two weeks for all 4 books, and I don't know which is which. All I can say is that this story is fast paced, addictive, and pulled at my heart the whole time. I cried for the hero, I cried for the villain, I cried when it ended.

    15. Lea Vanderlei on said:

AMAZING and SPECTACULAR!!!!!!I can't explain how spectacular this book is. I am not good at describing why and what I enjoyed the most in a book, and it has never bothered me as much as it is right now. This is one of the best series I have read.

    16. Kristen on said:

I feel like this book had a really cheesy ending it felt like i wasted my time reading three books just to lead me back to where it started. I dont understand why they had to make Emily so damn needy non the less the whole happily ever after feeling i got from the end was very unsatisfying

As the 3rd and final instalment of the Fall of Angels Series I had high hopes for Vindicated and I was not disappointed. As always when you read the last book in a series you have to prepare for the worst possible ending, just in case. But this ending was perfect full stop.It was rather confusing because you have to look out for the little detail throughout the whole series, and since I was so apprehensive to see if I liked the ending, the second half of the book was quite rushed. It did tie up [...]

I think this was a great end to the series. Story wise I really enjoyed it. Having said that I do believe the book could have been half its length if not for so much repetitiveness. It seemed to have on every third page about how much they loved each other, rocks in her stomach, how they needed more time. it started to get on my nerves. I thought there were details or obvious things left out or overlooked that could have been explained or made more sense instead of the constant repeating of fact [...]

I couldn't help it - I needed to reread Vindicated as soon as I finished Forsaken. Totally alright that it's 3AM - not a big deal.Vindicated picks up right where Forsaken left off - right after Alex FINALLY proposes to Jessica. We get to see: how Jessica's words & actions affected Cole; how Alex & Jessica fight to stay together; and more importantly - how Jessica is going to keep Alex from the Afterlife. All of my questions were finally answered in Vindicated, and it's bittersweet that t [...]

The characters in this book are so well written. Through the trilogy you sense the growth of both the individual characters and the relationships with those around them. Jessica works to move on from the past issues she had with her family and reaches out to them. Alex works to save his mother. Cole works to restore the wrong he created in pursuing Jessica and Emily is still trying to save herself from an afterlife of the condemned. The plot line of this book fell a little flat compared to the fi [...]

Overall, I enjoyed this series although I did have a couple of critiques about the writing. In terms of the story, I found it to be very original so kudos to the author for creating an out of the ordinary angel story. In terms of the characters, the main protagonist Jessica, I found to be slightly annoying at times. She seemed a tad too intense as well as too syrupy at times. Seems like a paradox to say that but that's my perception of her and her struggle as a changed being and the crisis it ev [...]

Well, this is a good and really interesting 3rd sequel to Branded. The book is well written and the pace is fast. I liked the story and all, but I think I wanted some more action, although it had it enough.I don`t know! I justAnyway, I totally liked what happened with Jessica and Alex through the whole story, even when they both were fighting. And the wedding and honeymoon! I loved that part of this book. The weakest book in the trilogy by far. I personally would only recommend the first book, as a standalone novel. There is a lot of fighting and personal sacrifices going on in this book. Jessica, Emily, Alex Even Cole. And Jessica's role as a proxy finally comes in handy as Alex and Jessica stand trial before the angels at last. But my, my wasn't Sal's role awfully convenient As for Emily and her quest for redemption, I would have loved to see more moral ambiguity. And couldn't her sacrifice be s [...]

In my opinion, the third installment of this story arc was the weakest of the three. The story lacked depth. It missed the major conflict of the previous. It was really just difficult to stay with all of the whiney self centered POV. In addition, I found s major component of the "fix"attempted to get what they wanted to be ridiculous. It made no sense that there was a thought and plan to sway others to do their bidding and this solve their problem. In my opinion, the main character was a shrill [...]

A lovely continuation from the end of Forsaken! Jessica and Alex are finally coming together in what they desire so deeply. Nothing comes easy, however, and they must face several challenges, even death itself, to figure out how to makes things work. The depth of devotion, loyalty and love really make this story special. There was a little question as to how Alex ended up the way he did in the very end The only heartbreaker for me in this book was the lack of editing.ge. Quite a few times, I lit [...]

I in no way want to ruin anyone’s book reading experience so please read my words with caution. My heart hurt this ENTIRE book. I love this series! I will definitely be reading it again. I finished this book in just under 24 hours, which is pretty good considering the fact that I have 2 small children at home. What a perfect ending to the storyline for everyone! I couldn't have been more happy for all included. I really can't say much without giving anything away, which I don't want to do because I don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I just really love the relationship between Alex and Jessica. And I love that she come [...]

What would you do for love? Alex gave his life in exchange for Jessica's, now how can she save him? Add in some crazy family members, a few more dark eyed creepy angels, a bunch of door slamming and drama, and well, this final installment of the Fall of Angels does not lack in the emotionally driven plot department. Once again, the reader is thrust head first into Jessica's world as she attempts to reconcile her past with her present, and more importantly, her futurewith Alex. But time is runnin [...]
