Written in both English and Spanish, this is a soothing, rhythmic poem that is perfect for bedtime reading. The rhyming and repetitive narrative takes a father and his son on a magical journey through the stars. The colorful illustrations are muted, but fantastic and show a mythical ocean in the stars. Our girls really enjoyed looking at the picture of the boy's bedroom at the end, to figure out the various items that were incorporated into the poem. This book was so peaceful that it made me yawn with the rhythm and dreamy illustrations. Repeating line throughout the book hints at the tone of the book "dream away, dream away, sleepyhead. love. set sail for the ocean of stars up above."

The illustrations here are stunning, and the gentle rhyme scheme and occasional repetition make this a perfect bedtime book.

A very lovely good-night read. A rhyming, singsong lullaby of a book, a father reading to his child, venturing in in a paper hat boat through constellations come life.

I enjoyed this book but I think it would be a better bed time book, instead of a book read out loud to a class. It is a laid back book and talks about what you can dream about when you fall asleep.

A bedtime, and a tale of a dream and the adventures of the dreamer as he sleeps.
