I enjoyed the story. Typical Lynn Hagen in plot and story line. Smaller mate in trouble and bigger mate is to help and protect him. It's a lite, fluffy read. My only problem was the editing. I usually don't complain unless it's distracting. In this case there was a name change in one of the later scenes. I was thrown because the character named was at another location. This is a big error and should have been corrected.

This second book in the Demon Warriors series focuses on the overall storyline and the mystery of who is behind the vanished crystal as well as all the other strange goings on. I liked learning more about the demon world, but missed the closeness to the characters that was so much fun in the first book.Snooke has dark secrets - but we don't really find out what his problems are until the last third of the book (or I totally missed the details). This made it very hard to understand what was going [...]

2.5 - 3This one is hard to rate really. While I like her series and this series, And I liked Snooke and Kabe, there is just WAY too many things left hanging. I can understand some story-lines to go from book to book, but this one it felt like we are left with more and more question. The relationship kinda get a little lost within all the drama that is happening without any resolve. Some cliff hangers are good, too many are just irritating and ruins it. imod now the questions spill into Brac Pack [...]

Oh man, how I wish I could get the few days back that I spent reading this book. Hondo's book was a 5 next to this book. I did not connect with either of these characters. Snooke made me want to carve my eyes out with a rusty spoon. Kane was a better character in Hondo's book. The less I read about him, the better. Sorry, these two were not for me

I love Lynn Hagen books, but this particular series doesn't appeal to me as much as the others. I hope this is just a Bump on the road and the series will get better. I'm still looking forward to keep reading about these Charming Demons :)

Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each):Brac PackChristian's CovenZeus's PackDemon WarriorsThe ExiledThese are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying [...]

Plenty of inconsistencies in this one, I'll name just one of the top of my head. In Hondo's book it was said how Kane can freeze time for twenty seconds every five minutes, yet in this book Kane does it back to back, repeatedly, because they needed to cut Snookie and he's a neutraliser. There are many of these kind of mistakes throughout the book. Also, did the author deliberately make the characters stupid to mislead us into misunderstanding the story and these "great mysteries"? Hopefully I'll [...]

2011 Review:It started out disappointingly, but caught up somewhat later on. Just to get stupid again at the end, by way of throwing all those cliff-hangers in there and ruining the natural ending of the story. So yeah, I didn’t like it as much as the first volume, mostly because the characters appeared unfair and not too smart at times, and never mind the chronological inconsistencies.Panahasi at least rocked more than ever.Honestly though? This is a series that should be read as one long sto [...]

In this one we learn more about the mystery of the stolen crystal and how it relates to Snooke and the strange way he's acting. Kane is unhappy with the actions of his mate and Ms. Hagen did a nice job expressing his frustration. There's a lot going on in the background here that are a result of the villain who remains unnamed until near the end of the story. There is a nice twist with an unexpected visit to the human world and the sudden addition to the cast with Dillon, who will be featured in [...]

typical lynn hagen serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical lynn hagen? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but yeah.). out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by :lynn hagenstormy glennscarlett hyacinthcarol lynnegabrielle evansunless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books [...]

Well apart from the wimpy demon's name being Snooke which is ridiculous in itself my only comment would be 'see review for Hondo '

I have to admit, as goofy as the plotline is in this series, it's still totally engaging and fun. The characters, mainly the demons, are way cool and the sex scenes are smokin'. I'm hooked.
