      The girls' personalities seem to be shining through in this volume. Some I like, others I don't. Mio, for example she was so cute and sweet the first two volumesl shy but now it seems like she's ALWAYS yelling at someone. I don't really like it. I know it's supposed to be a contrast - she's like this around people she doesn't know well but once you get to know her she's differentbut I don't like the differences. Ritsu, on the other hand, I love her sassy attitude. She reminds me a bit of me kind [...]

      Okay. Funny thing about my copy of this book. I got it from the library back in the summer of 2012 and after reading it, I lost it in the bottomless pit of my couch. For three years, I thought my friend that I had a sleepover with the night I lost it had stolen the book or accidentally taken it with her for some reason. However, a couple weeks ago, while having to lift the couch and root around inside of it, past the springs and all that for my boyfriend's phone (which had fallen inside of the c [...]

      If you're looking for a light-hearted read after a long, hard day, you really can't look further than K-On!To put it simply, it's a bit of a 'fluff' tale about a group of girls who make up the pop music club at school, and their misadventures together. The eclectic bunch, made up of Yui Hirasawa on guitar, Mio Akiyama on bass, Ritsu Tainaka on drums and Tsumugi Kotobuki on keyboard, the girls are seemingly more interested in drinking tea and eating cake, than they are rehearsing, or doing anythi [...]

      Liked this one much better than volume 2. Maybe it's because by now the five girls all know each other so well (and Kakifly has full command of his characters), but all of the interactions between the band members seem completely natural and effortless at this point, and it leads to some genuinely laugh out loud funny scenes. It's fitting that Ritsu gets the cover of this volume - this installment is the manga finding its rhythm.

      This one took me a long time to read (I like to read them pretty slow since this series goes by so fast) I think my fave panel though was when Mio & Ritsu tell the story of how they became friends, it was so precious!! ; 3 ;

      Excellent 4koma about being in a band. (It's a little moe, yeah, but what comes out of Japan these days that isn't?)

      The girls last year in school and a new member joins the pop music club on guitar. With no other new members joining will the club have to disband when everyone graduates?

      I liked this one a lot better than the previous volume. It seems like their characters grow more. Also, a lot more happens in general. Still cute and loveable.

      また、放課後ティータイムの皆と遊びましょう!今度は3年生になった。とても面白かった。いつも通り。アニメ版より短い物語ですけど、もう、楽しかった。次の本は輸入しなければならない。楽しみに。
