I want to start out by saying that I've read the actual books, and that I know the graphic novels aren't suppose to be exactly like them or as good as them. But that doesn't mean they should be bad, making me not want to read them! Things wrong with them-1) No enough detail/background -if I hadn't read the books, I would be kinda lost.2) They take WAY to long to create-If it takes 12 months to make one of this poor of quality, I say something needs to change.3)Out of all of the current five out, [...]

KryptoniteMy kryptonite is dark haired smart-asses! Case and point, this smexy pirate:So when it comes to Maximum Ride: The Manga I doubt it shocks anyone that I adore Fang!!I never really know what to say about manga. I liked it, it was cute but it's not a meal to me, it's just a snack. Surly teenagers and kids with wings what can go wrong?!

This took me exactly 1 hour to read. Pretty good but not my favorite. I'm realizing that it's getting a little repetitive with them being captured and escaping multiple times. And Fang annoyed me so much in this book. And not the cute way that he usually is but the annoying get out of my life way. He was also acting really strange and I thought it would be concluded but not really

This volume was just as action-packed and humorous as the others, but I see some plot holes and unoriginal ideas. Maybe it's because I haven't read the actual novels for this series (a huge problem, I know), but after all the children went through, it's a dream? How cliché can you get? Then there was the fact that after the main character had a surgery in her "dream" the scars were gone when she "woke up" as evidence that it was a dream. It all makes sense until later the scar appears again. I' [...]

The only thing that disappointed me in this volume of the series was that Narae failed to put in everyone's favorite line: "I vill no destroy de Snickhas bahrs." (Or however you spell it with that accent in mind.) I loved the artwork in this one. My favorite picture was one from the chapter pages, which was of Ari when he was younger with his older self. I loved the contrast between the two and think that the next volume will be just as enjoyable as this one was.

I loved this book and thought that it was a great edition to the series. I have been hooked on this series and this book was one of my favorite books in the series. With an exiting plot and many unseen twists this book kept me at the edge of my seat. Truly making me want to read the next instalment of the series. I give this book a high rating because of its importance to the series and how much it made me want to read more. I finished this book in less than a day but it took me a while to updat [...]

'Maximum Ride, Vol. 5' is REALLY starting to pick up the pace. Lots of new action and ideas emerge in this lovely instalment. Angel does surprising things and Fang and Max finally admit their feeling for each other. Somewhat. HOORAY! I really miss the full colour drawings on the first few pages and have gotten used to reading manga. Big eyes are still weirding me out but are not a repellent anymore. The instalment also closely follows the original novel series which is awesome!Congratulations to [...]

That's it. This is becoming my favorite series. And this volume was even better. And of course it ends at a cliffhanger. I thank you for that and am like really you're ending it there?! Cute cover. Oh and helps that I like Fang. He, he awesome. New favorite ship? Yes.

I loved this graphic novel. I thought it didn't miss a thing that was told n the actual novel and the art was great!

SPOILER ALERT!!!The book I read was a graphic novel and the book was called Maximum Ride, Vol.5, and this book was written by James Patterson. The book was about the flock is heading west and them trying to stop the institute, and the school from the by-half plan. This book could have been about judging a book by its cover because if I would have judged the book by its cover I would've thought it was a bad book, but it was a good book. The last book was about how they were staying at Anne's house, [...]

Just finished reading this book today and it was awesome! The Flock is on the run again and "The School" has a few tricks up its sleeve. The series is near its climax and the book ends on a stunning cliffhanger. A bit of romance, arguing, and betrayal leaves you wondering what might happen next and desperate to read the next volume.

4.5 stars I was quite surprised with certain characters and the turn of event the story took. I am not quite sure where the story is going but I am all in for the ride! P.S. I started reading this series of manga yesterday and I am already on the 7th volume! It is so addicting and fun to read.

I thought this book was good because in the middle of the book Max and the other woke up at the school they don't like and everything they did in the past was all a dream, the dog they loved was all a dream too, and they miss Total the dog too SAD!😭

I was a little bit of an idiot and jumped into the Max Ride series with this book, not noticing the whopping "5" on the cover Still found the plot amazing even though I had no idea what was happening. That's how you know you've found a keeper. So after going back and reading the actual books to the point where I finally got what was going on, I think this manga is a qualified success.

    23. Sandy on said:

But if you've been reading the Maximum Ride series or my reviews on the previous volumes then you know this. The kids might always get a break but it's always short lived and if Fang and the gangha-ha. If the guys think they are going to be able to just disappear then they are kidding themselves so I don't blame Max when she gets upset with their sudden "screw everyone else" attitude but despite her disagreeing with them she's outnumbered and has no choice but to go house hunting with Fang. No j [...]

I didn't read book four (so missed out on the ITEX plot) but will read all the novels. I feel sorry for the other Max as she isn't treated as a person since she'll never live up to Max. Fang's haircut is hot, just saying. It's smart for Fang to blog what's happening to them. I'm surprised people noticed the bird kids so quickly in the football stadium. It would be hard to decide to save the world, so I understand Fang's reluctance. Fang and Max kissed, yes! I ship it! It was smart for Max to get [...]
