      The lives of two WWII military leaders are compared in this book.A few parts of this book were riveting but the writing was too dense and the narrative was confusing in places. In terms of the central claim that the two leaders were similar there seemed to be some evidence for this, they were both outsiders, were short and were wounded in WWI, but Rommel seems to have been much more of a frontline soldier (rather than a staff officer) and less concerned about his public standing / image (at leas [...]
