      Le Sueur is one of those odd writers who writes well in many different genres, but her creative nonfiction and fiction seems better than her poetry. Even in the early part of the twentieth century, Le Sueur writes candidly and beautifully about issues such as abortion and murder on picketers during the Great Depression. It is wonderful to have the perspective of women poverty during the depression. Notable are the creative nonfiction pieces “Women on the Breadlines,” “Women Are Hungry,” [...]
