      Memories of the Dead by Phillip R. Hall is beautifully, magically written. The story is set in an older world and the language is articulated within that time. Many times I have read authors attempt this and fail, but Hall is masterful at it. He never misses a beat or narrates outside of this era. It is beautiful to read.
