This is a sweet love story, with some hot rockin’ sex, that makes RULE NUMBER ONE not just a light read but a very pleasant book to pick up and enjoy. This is Ms Reinhardt’s debut published novel. If she follows up with more like it I will be a dedicated fan. BTW, her website is one of the cuter author websites and I recommend taking a walk over there. I think Ms Reinhardt and I have a few things in common, including her tag line, “Grown-up love stories, because we're never too old for a li [...]

If you like your romances to involve real-world people with just the right amount of spice to need the air conditioner, then RULE NUMBER ONE is for you. Set Indianapolis,Nan Reinhdardt nails the details of Indiana's capital city, from the Lockerbie neighborhood where Kate Gilligan lives to the Butler-Tarkington area, where Jack Walsh grew up. Twice-divorced Kate isn't inclined to trust the handsome Jack when he tries to hire her to stage his mother's house to help sell it. But Jack finds Kate un [...]

Contest Here: thetbrpile.weebly/1/post/2 This is a fun and light read. The story is very well written and the characters are good, fun people. It is a pretty standard romance story, but the main characters and all the people that surround them are interesting, engaging and easy to like. I like that the relationship between Katy and Jack develops slowly and how Katy thaws, realizing that not all guys are bastards. There is also a great little side romance, which in itself makes the book worth rea [...]

A straight up romance-- this book was excellent. Reinhardt does a wonderful job developing her characters, establishing scenes, and amping up the tension in this story. It's very well-written and edited. I loved the Irish brogue the author infused seamlessly. It added great atmosphere without feeling like she tried too hard to do it. And it's a feel-good story that leaves you smiling.
