"Books are like doorways. Open it and you can step right into a whole new world"This is so true and why I lurve this author, every book takes you on the journey, I never just feel like a reader I'm their in the thick of the action. As you would expect from Tim O'Rourke you are transported into the world of Kiera, Potter, Isidor and Kayla and its non stop action. I can always envision the scenes in the story, whether I'm taken to The Ragged Cove, Hollowed Manor or The Great Western Railway and I [...]

This instalment is no exception but it also made me cry. the ugly cry, darn it!Tim sows more seeds in this instalment watch carefully. He plays with our mind cleverly and sneakily. He wrote a wonderful scene with Melody Rose. I will let you find out who she is, and what scene. Potter is still such fun with his cranky banter, and grumpy [...]

Im almost at a loss for words & you have no idea how rare that is for me.This latest installment in the Kiera Hudson Series wasn't filled with the amount of bloody-messy-gore that were used to in this series, but dives into the darket side of Horror. A darker side of human nature that fills you with dread just reading it. In this I found a villian far scarier than any hes penned before. I wont dive into the plot & ruin the story for anyone, the biggest thrill of Mr. O'Rourkes books is th [...]

Whilst I do love the series, this book was different from the rest as the action took a back seat to an exploration of Isidor and his past. We left off where the team were being hunted by the skin-walkers and they had taken Sam with them who is in the midst of the change but he can't complete it. They find an abandoned rail way station and seek refuge there from the storm. Potter and Isidor are at each other's throats as usual and Kiera is trying to keep the peace. Kayla is really worried about [...]

*Genre* YA Paranormal*Rating* 3.5*Review*Dead Angels is the continuing story of Kiera Hudson and crew as they find themselves in an alternate world that has been pushed so that Werewolves and Humans share an untenable treaty that has been ripped apart by the actions of Kiera, Potter, Isidor and Kayla in saving wolf boy Sam Brook. In saving Sam, it appears they are now being hounded by the Shape-shifters who want payback for the actions of Kiera's group at Ravenwood School. This book was told in t [...]

Love, love, love this book! Love this series! Love Tim O’Rourke! Love it all! Seriously, if you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon and begun reading books by O’Rourke, then you’re really missing out!Book two in the amazing Kiera Hudson Series Two is another impeccable read, full of mystery and intrigue, love and passion, and this time we are given an intricate glimpse into the heart of Isidor, our brooding hero who has had enough of Potter’s taunts and believes he knows something about th [...]

So, we all know how adorable Isidor is did you know he was adorable even before we met him? He was, and sweet and had incredible adventures. Of course, we will find out what it was like to be a mix-breed growing with a foster mom, not knowing who his parents really were and with a desperate desire to meet the outside world. Now, my thoughts are how does the human part of him affect who he is, his emotions and personality? Oh, you will find out here and meet some of the people who changed his lif [...]

Another good book in the series. Not my favorite, but I always loved Isidor and was really pleased to read some history on him. I thought it dragged just a touch in the middle because so much of it is back story and not as much action as the other books in this series, but all in all had kept me engaged. I really liked Melody Rose. There is a scene between Potter & Isidor that was very moving and truly made the book. As usual, the book is left on a cliffhanger. Hope Mr O'Rourke is writing qu [...]

I was not expecting to be so moved by this book that I would be left holding tissues. There actually were a lot of surprises in this story and now I'm left wonderingwhat the heck???I don't know what else to say except these books are awesome.Just when you think you know where the story is going you are blown away with something so unexpected.I loved this book.I can't wait to see what happens in the next book

This installment of the Keira Hudson books has villians that are very unexpected, at least when you are dealing with werewolves and vampires. This book is mostly about Isador, and his story was so haunting and sad that I almost didn't want to continue reading the story, but Mr. O'Rourke is such a good story teller that I had to continue so that I could find out what happens. I think this is one of the best in the series.

So, Kiera and the gang are trying to get Sam to the Fountain of the Souls and are being pursued by Shifters and Beserkers on their way. A large portion of the story is told from Isiodor's POV as he tells the others how he had heard the term "push" before. As always, I was intrigued through out the entire story, my only complaint is that I felt the story could have been a little longer.

Another great book in the series with an ending leaving you wanting more. Looking forward to how the story pans out.

This book, felt like the other two. There was too much of the side-character involved that I found it hard to read. But, in saying that it was interesting. And, man can Tim O'Rourke write some twisted storylines!I think I've found an overlying theme in this series - all the parents are abusive nutjobs. That's what it seems like anyway. To be honest, with this book, I found this to be very random. Like, Isidor - a character that has hardly had much to say throughout the whole series - is suddenly [...]

After reading 'Dead Flesh (Keira Hudson Series Two, Book One)' and the novella, 'Dead Night - Potter's Secrets (Keira Hudson Series Two, Book 1.5)', the reader is aware that Keira and her friends are existing in a different world, almost a parallel universe. A world that they once knew but has now been 'pushed' and life is not quite the way it was before. The beginning of this novel carries on from 'Dead Flesh' as the gang are at Hallowed Manor with the addition of Sam, who, since leaving the cha [...]

I cannot believe that Tim always surprises me EVERY bloody time! This was yet again, another fantastic instalment of Keira’s unrelenting battle with all that is evil. Get’s a lot hotter between her and potty mouthed Potter too. Dead Angels goes back to Isidors’ past and it will break your heart. He appears to be a guy who keeps him self to himself, except for his sis, yet tatted up to the max (tattoos) tough looking, arse kicker. You will see more of his softer side and your heart will ble [...]

«Warning, You will most likely cry» «Warning, Sad Spoiler»I cried for a hour when I knew Isidor was dead, I have never cried over a book that had a death before, but I cried. It was so touching to me for some odd reason. When Potter said "Isidor needs to find his own path,I just hope he finds Melody at the end of it.” I started to shake out of pure sadness, I knew it was a hint, and I hated Potter for it, but also thanked him. I loved Isidor as a character and all, I grew attached in 5 sec [...]

I love this series! I found myself so engrossed in the characters and all of the twists and turns in the plot, just when I thought I had it figured out, there would be a new twist on the whole story. I loved the way it kept me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning.I have read both of the Kiera Hudson series and can't wait for the third series to begin.

I love the Kiera Hudson series but struggled with this instalment. I might have given it 2 stars if it wasn't for how brilliantly the series had been written so far. I'm ready for the next one but don't feel this one is anywhere near as good as the others :(

Evenven though I love the Kiera Hudson series, I didn't enjoy this one as much,at times it dragged on, I felt the whole Isador story just wasn't necessary of how he met Melodys we needed to know who she was but I found myself skipping past most of it to get back to the main storyline.
