Reading this second volume in this An Alaska Iconoclast Mystery series just reinforces that it is a great series with a very talented author. It is so good being back in Ravens Cove with all the characters from the previous volume and a few more added in this one. I did not realise how much I had missed them until I started reading this much-awaited story that has sat in my To Be Read list. I feel very much a part of the Ravens Cove community and not just as a reader, but as if I was there with [...]

Disclaimer: I received a PDF ARC from netgalley.Remember, I'm reviewing this book from the perspective of one who loves urban fantasy and supernatural genre works. I am pagan, and while there's a bit of "God talk" in this book, it doesn't detract from a good story. An ingress is a portal, an opening to somewhere else. Poll's newest addition to her Alaskan Iconoclast series, Ingress, is indeed just that. This book picks up from the events of the first book. We find out what happens to Josiah and [...]

Although this is book 2 of the Alaska Iconoclast Mystery series, I should have started with Ravens Cove because book 2 picks up after Ravens Cove. There is quite a bit of a religious tone such as good vs. evil. The characters are well written and developed. I hope there is a book 3 as I would highly recommend this series. Even if you do not like the religious aspect I am sure you will enjoy this mystery. Thanks to Net Galley and YouDoPr-Publication Consultants.
