On my blog July 17th pageflipperzya and pageflipperz Forgetting who you are is hard, but not as hard as remembering.Witness is book two in the series and Jamie has certainly taken us on a journey of discovery with this one. Charlie is still trying to recover from the outcome in the last book, and with such devastation, she is finding it hard to SEE Not being able to remember or see - is certainly taking its toll on her, and also affecting her every day becomings. All she wants to do is protect [...]

Witness is the sequel to See and picks up shortly after where See left off. I finished Witness is one sitting and enjoyed this one a bit more than See. I was already familiar with the characters and the world that Magee built so it was easier to get into this book. Charlie is still trying to recover from everything that happened to her in See which is completely understandble. She is still frustrated though because she is still being kept in the dark by her friends and she just wants to help the [...]

When I read the first book in this series, See, I was blown away, impressed, spellbound, impressed you get the picture. I could not wait to read the second book in this series and it turns out that it was just as amazing as the first. Witness is a bit darker than book one, which I enjoyed. That might not be an accurate statement. It might be that the story was always this dark, but until Charlie became more aware and "awake" we did not see it as such. I think what I loved most about this book is [...]

Witness is an excellent sequel to See. In a way it passes See up. The characters are so much better and you see more into them. It starts right after See ends and the action starts right away. Charlie is at the stage to were she can make her own choices but some still want to treat her like a little kid that doesn't need to know everything and to be kept in a safe place. She starts to doubt her abilities some which would happen to anyone when you get treated that way. She finds that she is the o [...]

Thought this was amazing. Ordered it 9am on the 19th finished round 3am. I could not put it down!!! Keeps you gripped on the story wondering what is going on and how this will fit into the Insight series (also wonderful). Have so many ideas on how things can go, but that is the fun part! Reading about Charlie and Dravens love just makes me feel the need to love my husband as much. Great book, must read!

OK I have seriously enjoyed all of Jamie's books so far! Witness is the 2nd book in the See Series. I can't wait to see how it ties in with the other series Insight also. Losing ones memory stinks. Being surrounded by demons and shadows well that's just plain scary! Until they are not there anymore and then that is scarier. Discovering the one you love is in the path of darkness well you can imagine! Jamie does a great job taking you into the lives of Draven, and Charlie. Charlie is a fierce , s [...]

Just incredible unbelievable. I get lost in the words Jamie has managed to bring to life within her books. After reading the Insight series where this gang was first introduced, it is nice to be able to get insight into their lives. What happened before, leading up to the time they meet and fight side by side with Willow and her people.I couldn't have asked for a better story. One part that got me good was when Draven was on stage and dedicated the song to Charlie, saying its epic to write a song [...]

It's cool how in this series the characters when dealing with emotional struggles they turn to music to help work through their problems, it's something all readers can relate to. The plot was slowly kicking off with some procrastination at first but once the decision was made things fell into place smoothly I loved the flow of information and all the pieces connecting together with it's sister series, I'm really excited to read these two worlds colliding! The characters were bold and strong acc [...]

Holy Crap! So much excitement, danger, anxiety - it seemed like I just flew through this book! Draven is just as yummy as ever and I am amazed at how patient and well-grounded he can be, no matter much crap he has to deal with! And Charlie, I can't believe she hasn't lost her mind completely! It was horrible not having her memories, but now she's beginning to realize things are even more complicated when she remembers. Their friends and family are so supportive and helpful, even though some of t [...]

Charlie and DravenThis is the fifth book in the Web of Hearts and Souls series, and the second in the See series. In this book, Charlie and Draven are trying to figure out how to see their way to different places. A person from Charlie's past shows up to protect her, and she meets more people that help her on her journey. She is also tasked with protecting those she loves. Another awesome addition to the Web!

I loved the Insight series and the first of the See series but for some reason I felt a little disconnected with this book. I think maybe because it was a little shorter than what I had expected and quite a bit went on in the book, which gave me too much in so little time. Despite this Jamie's work still continues to brighten my days and I cannot wait for when the Insight and See series come together.

Charlie has regained most of her memories and realizes that she has to help protect Draven. Family secrets come out and she has a choice to run or stay and fight. Madison is dealing with her dreams of a handsome man who seems to have a darkness about him. New character introduced-Silas brings many more questions. Many mysteries.

I really enjoyed the story, however, some of the grammatical errors were distracting. "rod iron" instead of "wrought iron," and the misuse of appropriate you/you're form, specifically. The story was very engaging & I would recommend the series to friends.

Getting better with these new characters and the story has gotten more interesting and pacey. Lots of references to the two 'worlds' colliding but they haven't yet. Only one bookl of the eight left now. Not sure how everything could possibly be tied up in one book but I'll be finding out shortly!
