      Ellen den Hollander begint zorgvuldig en traag met de opbouw van het verhaal. Het voordeel hiervan is dat je de personages goed leert kennen! Het nadeel is het ontbreken van spanning en dat vergt wat geduld bij het lezen. Langzaamaan krijg je door dat de twee verhaallijnen elkaar gaan kruisen en dan komt ook de spanning tevoorschijn.Lees verder op mijn blog :)

      I have thoroughly enjoyed this novel. The novel is a good, but also fast, read. I finished reading within a day. Being an aspiring journalist myself, I like the descriptions of the journalistic environment, which ring true to life. The story is inventive and quite original. Also I like a good Dutch novel, recognising subtle references to Dutch culture and events.The story is wellwritten, although the author could have spent more time checking and synchronising all the details.
