The linked holiday-themed novellas Rhian Cahill's released with Escape Publishing are fun and romantic. They're genuinely Aussie--setting, characters and dialogue."Valentine's Dates" has one of my favourite tropes: second chance love. Nothing better than seeing people get it right this time. The stakes are higher, and so are the rewards. Plus, it's a perfect theme for Valentine's Day when you think back and remember people you've loved, and some of the relationships that went unexplored.Enjoy :) [...]

As posted on The Smutty Kitty5 out of 5 LicksThis is the third book in a loosely connected series by Ms. Cahill-Christmas Wishes and New Year's Kisses being the first two. Each of the books can be read as stand alones but the characters mean more when you read them in order. I absolutely loved this book. It's a short sweet read. Sometimes it's harder for me to get into shorter books but this one just works. There is no huge conflict it is just a sweet story about two people who rediscover their [...]

Four and a half stars. What a delicious and utterly charming friends-to-lovers story. Brent and Vee had an explosive connection years ago, only of course, Brent kind of mucks it all up. Both of them are older and wiser and try to steer well clear of the other now.I love how they've both grown up a bit and how we get to see how well suited they are for each other. A short sweet read, perfect for Valentine's Day or any day of the year :)

This is the first book by this author that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am going to have to check into her other books. This story ticked a lot of things I like in books. There was a second chance at love, not too much angst, one of the characters falling in love with the best friend of a sibling, and a bit of heat.

Valentine’s Dates is the third holiday-themed novella by Rhian Cahill released with Escape Publishing since its launch in November 2012. At just 24,000 words, this is a short and sweet romance fitting perfectly to the Valentine’s Day holiday.Brent is the best friend of Valentine’s (yes, that’s the protagonist’s name!) brother. He’s been living with his mate for awhile when Valentine (“Vee”) temporarily moves in with them while renovations are being undertaken at her home. Neither [...]

3,75 starsAnother great short novella from Rhian Cahill and Escape Publishing! Loved Brent and Vee and I hope there'll be a novella for Morgan too in the future as this hottie chef deserves a HEA too!Fave Quotes:Brent watched as she struggled to lower the zipper on her dress. With a groan, he reached for her again. Clenching his jaw, he fought the urge to touch her while he helped her strip bare. Creamy white skin was revealed inch by inch as the fabric parted. From neck to arse, every ridge of [...]

Valentine's Dates by Rhian Cahill was a short, but sweet & sexy read. I haven't read the other two connected books yet, but that will be corrected shortly. Vee and Brent were adorable. The only thing I wanted but didn't get was the discussion about the past.

Another sweet and sexy story by author Rhian Cahill that I really enjoyed. I loved that even though things have been tense between Vee and Brent, he is the first person she automatically calls to rescue her when she's in trouble. It also showed the great love and protectiveness Brent has for Vee which was so endearing and heartwarming. They made a fun-loving couple and so glad they got their happily ever. Now, I want to read Morgan's story next.

Fun quick Valentine's Day read!I love watching two people who have known one another for a long time finally get their HEA together. Brent and Vee were adorable, and the scene where Wade found out about then was so fun.

A great short read, tension filled and steamy pages. The chemistry and the relationship between the characters considering there past developed really smoothly. This was a very engaging story and a really good second chance story.

Rhian is phenomenal at giving you a romance and tons of info in a novella. I always want more but she does it justice. Vee and Brent a must read.

I thought this book was about Valentine's Day, but it turned out to be about a girl named Valentine. Oh well, it wasn't too bad.
