The Adventures of Dod: Code of Kings by Thomas R. Williams As the third installment within the series, Cole/Dod once again returns to the world of Green. To halt the progress of The Order and Sirlonk, Dod and his friends must decipher the mysteries of the Code of the Kings. Sirlonk narrowly escaped death last time, and Ingrid is Sirlonk in disguise; he once again escapes. Not sure if I should give this five or four stars. I would like to have more range so I save the top rating for books that pull me in them much further than normal. This one was not quite there but close especially at the end. So I have rounded its score up. One great thing with reading this series is seeing how the writing has improved across the books. In this one it feels as though the author has hit his stride.

This is a great book to read as a family because of the fun of guessing who did what throughout the book. We read all three so far and we are excited for the rest. The books get better and better with each volume because of the increased depth of the characters and plot. Everything fits together well and we are left talking about our predictions and theories well after our reading time. I like that this series has brought us together for a fun family activity. 5 stars!

INSANELY AWESOME! I loved this book best, and cannot wait until the fourth book comes out. A big cliff hanger that makes you want to grab the fourth immediately! Full of intense action, and twist and turns. A page-turner! I was up all night reading this incredible book! I couldn't stop! It was so awesome!

Fun read. Good Book. Third in at the series. Now we have to wait for #4 to come out. My 10 year old grandson wanted me to read these with him. They remind me of the Harry Potter series. A young boy going back and forth between Earth and Green and helping save the people of Green.
