Target Audience: The target audience of this nonfiction book is likely students in intermediate grades (3-6).       I chose this book because it is all about dogs. I love dogs they are my favorite animal. In grade school animals play a big part in science. I am sure dogs are a lot of other childrens favorite animal. this book does an excellent job of giving the history of dogs. it also is filled with useful information such as what each specific dog breed needs in order to have proper care. this book was fun and useful and filled with many engaging photos.

      OK I know these are supposed to be kid books but they are awesome! Great pictures and just enough text to make you want to learn more. Great choices for a beginning history reader or to start an older reader out in a new area. Every time I pick one of these up and read it I learn new things. Highly Recommended

      If you love dogs, you'll especially love this book. This is a book about dogs, and where they came from and what breed they are. these dogs in the book aren't just regular dogs but they are fascinating dogs, dogs that can do as much tricks and even help save peoples lives.

      I absolutely loved reading the Eyewitness Books when I was in elementary school! If you love dogs this is a great book to read. Not only is it fun but it is extremely informative. I would highly recommend them to absolute anyone and I hope one day to have a variety of them in my house.
