      A coming of age story involving dark family secrets and supernatural evil that deftly avoids the expected cliches. The characters are fully fleshed and emotionally engaging, although the book would be a little more appropriate for a teen reader looking for a real horror novel.An author to watch.

      I received this book through giveaways.Ryan lived with his adopted mother and father until Ryan's dad dies. Then to help his mother cope with the loss she decides to take her son and move in with her mother.When they arrive at Ryan's grandma's house he starts to see a ghost that looks just like him. When he has sightings or interactions with this twin he ends up getting very hurt to the point where he's in the hospital. He also sees 2 boys around that seem wild.
