Okay. I kinda rushed through this just so I can finish it before March was officially over. I won this book in a First Reads Giveaway a long time ago. It just hasn't been a priority because I didn't actually pay for it. I finally decided I wanted to read it and I just couldn't get into it. There are way too many like FBI, CIA, SIU confusing references. There is even a 2 page key in the book to let you know what all of the abbreviations are for. I wish the romance part was more prevalent. Althou [...]

This book was hard for me to review because it is not my type of read. So I do highly recommend you read it yourself to form an opinion. Being that said, I liked the book but I was constantly putting it down. I prefer books that I can't pull away from. Chapter two was really tough with it being too informational and a lot of acronyms. I felt this information would have been better placed throughout the book. The middle of the book sped up with some surprises and action. The end was a little pred [...]

This is the first of this series and I didn't think it was possible to feel such sympathy for the Thief-Gregg but I did and do feel for him. His story made me not want to put this book down. It kept me guessing what was going to happen next. Gregg and Carly the unlikely couple but then again they fit so well together. Although this starts out being about a Thief there are more characters who are deeply involved in his life. I would recommend for a very good read to pick up this book and begin th [...]

If you like books, tv shows, and movies (such as "Leverage," "White Collar," It Takes a Thief," "To Catch a Thief," "Catch Me if you Can," "The Italian Job," and "Oceans 11, 12, & 13") that portray thieves/non-violent criminals as the heroes, you'll love the REQUISITION FOR: A THIEF series. Book 2 (of the 3-book pilot) - A Diamond in the Making- is also now available. Look for Book 3 in February of 2013.

Series starter. International Jewel Thief Gregg Hadyn is the "James Bond" of jewel thieves. He's hot, suave, and very good at what he does. This first book of the series features Gregg executing four masterful heists. If you like books, tv shows, or movies about a thief who isn't really a "bad" guy, you'll probably love this series.
