This book isn't a literary wonder, like some of the exquisite books I've read in this sub-genre. It is littered with mistakes and missing words. And there were many more issues with the writing or the pace at which the conversations were happening. But it was fun enough while it lasted, so I only took off 2 stars from my rating. Sadly, the writing style has put me off from venturing to read the other M/M books in the series.

Continuing on with my reread of this series. Yes, they are, at times, super cheesy but they hit the spot. This one would probably be 3 stars now for me. I didn't realize how "childlike" Ashby was before but this time it seemed more so to me. But, I'm not changing my rating. As I stated with the others, there's something about this series that keeps me coming back so it deserves the stars I gave it initially.Prince Gabriel is one fine, alpha vampire. He deserves the stars for himself. This one con [...]

Love, love loved it!!!!! I am not generally a MM fan, it is not really my thing, I like a lady in the mix I can pretend is me. That is my reading MO, don't judge! But there has always bee something about Ashby that is just so lovable, I couldn't not read his story! And boy does this book deliver!!! Loads of new supporting characters and many old faves dropped into this book.Ashers is just so very sweet and adorable that you want you snuggle up with him. It is not difficult to see why Gabriel, the [...]

WOW, just WOW! Alanea Alder has proved that she's here to stay! Fated for Forever, the third book in her Kindred of Arkadia series solidifies that Ms. Alder is a brilliantly talent author with an exquisite imagination! After reading her first two books and instantly becoming a die hard fan, I honestly wondered how she could improve. Well, let me tell youe completely knocked my socks off! The growth of the main characters was amazing to watch. I was already a HUGE Ashby and Gabriel fan from the p [...]

Wowwhere do I begin! Well this was a fantastic read, I loved this story! I loved Gabriel he was so grrr alpa male but also soft and loving towards Ashby, who was lovely and kind. I loved the rest of the characters who seem to be just as lovely and fun, I can't wait to read their stories! I'm especially looking forward to book 4 and wandering whose book will be next! Thank you Alanea for another awsome story, you never disappoint me in your story telling!!!

I just found this series this weekend and am hooked. I was highly impressed with the author's world building along with her ability to write interesting characters who reach out and grab your attention and concern. I was looking forward to Ashby's book from book 1 and was not disappointed. One of the best things about this series for me is the fact that the author has not limited herself to only MM or MF pairings, but writes all relationships. It is frustrating as a reader to see an great female [...]

Great story depicting two very different people. One a vampire who has been around for centuries ruling many and the other a fox shifter who has been abused in the past meet and fall for one another. They have to overcome many things a stalker, a drug ring, and Ashby being torn wanting to be with Gabriel and his family in Arcadia. Love the clever banter that transpires through the characters. I was smiling through the whole book. The love scenes were nice as well. Tasteful but still steamy. Not [...]

Oh my goodness! I just finished Fated for forever by Alanea Alder. I can't say enough about it, I love it! I became a forever fan of her books after reading her first. I fell in love with Ashby and Gabriel from their first meeting. I love the way she portrays their growth. And I am also glad characters I have grown to love come back in her latest. Truly an entertaining read!!!

Alanea Alder had gay characters in her Bewitched & Bewildered series hut never as main characters and I have to say I love it!!- This book was both cute and lovely and adorable and awesome and most of all sexy! XD - Since book one I liked the main characters (since in here I can't call them hero and heroine and I don't want to say hero 1 or 2 so I will call them fox and vampire) especially the fox he was just that adorable- I liked how the vampire was utterly devoted to the fox it was rally [...]

Awesome add to the series. These two are the couple I've been waiting for. Ashby is a sweet adorable character that you can't help but fall in love with. Gabriel is mysterious and sexy so you can't help wanting to know more about him. This book has action, funny moments and we get more side characters from the vampire world that you can't help but smile about. These two will become your favorite couple for sure. Can't wait for the next.

Ashby, a fox shifter, has been talking to and getting to know the vampire prince, Gabriel. He was a bit stunned that a prince would have interest in him, until they meet in person and Ashby realizes that Gabriel is his mate.Instant mates don't bother me when they lead to instant attraction. But when it turns into inta-LOVE? No, that's when it loses me. I didn't really feel the chemistry between them enough to believe that they were in love. I was told how they had gotten to know each other, but [...]

Still has warmth and family feeling!Arkadia continues to accept and grow as a community with an interesting extended family. This time we welcome the Prince of Vampires who falls for a shifter fox. Yes, Gabriel's love interest is a fox, a play on words to be sure. Again an enjoyable read about love and family and this time it involves two likable male characters. However I did find at times the sweetness of some of the main characters a little cloying and repetitive even though this was balanced [...]

I adore Ashby and Gabriel! And I was intrigued enough by the many characters mentioned that I went and read the first two books and then reread this one again. I still adore Ashby and Gabriel, and I now love the other side characters even more. I am really looking forward to reading about the others!Minor issues: the writing needs editing. And I almost wince whenever Rebecca (aka Mary Sue) is around. But I'm beginning to associate the over-the-topness of some of the characters and their reaction [...]

I'm not seeing it. I read this because the reviews were so good and the score so high. But I'm not seeing anything Joyee Flynn, Gabrielle Evans, stormy Glenn or Lynn Hagen hadn't already done ( several dozen times ). It's very much the Siren formula. Cute, fluffy twink. Big, growly, powerful vamp/shifter who adores him instantly. Some token battle or conflict. Lots of melodrama. Whatever.

    17. Dawn Gee on said:

Very good continuation of seriesGabriel is one powerful vampire and he loves Ashby. And "the gentleman" is one psychotic individual. All of the characters from the previous books are in the story. Rebecca is becoming educated on laws and whips around that knowledge at the best times. There are some sexy scenes along with funny ones.

Absolutely no reason I can think of not to give this book 5 stars. It was a very good addition to the series, love Ashby. This series is so much like Sophie Oaks, Nights In Bliss Colorado series, including a family run diner, a grumpy sheriff, m/m, m/f/m, and of course a quirky little town full of crazy characters.

Okay so I’m not a MM kinda girl but this series is good and loads of fun. The author has a wonderful way of writing that just pulls you in as she incorporates both old and new characters to give us a unique storyline, a defined world, and a romance that packs a punch. Still rushy-rushy and not liking anymore than I did in the first book.

    20. Riayl on said:

Enjoyable enough that I am tempted to go back and get the first two books, even though they have girl parts. *gasp* After thinking about it I bumped this up a star because I really liked the way the coven treated Ashby and how he took control when Gabriel was out of it.

Ashby and Gabriel were so cute together! I loved this book. It showed the softer side to our mysterious, dark prince. I really liked seeing the vampire side of this series. I think the vampires are a great addition to this series. I can't wait to be introduced to more vampiric characters.

Great read! Book 3 of the Arkadia series is awesome! I'm not really in to MM books, but Alanea Alder has written such an amazing book. I'm rethinking that, because the love between the characters is beautiful.

Another great read in the series. Loved how Ashby really came into his own and how he and Gabriel were together. Really enjoyed the new characters especially the twins. Was afraid the new characters would replace the old at first but they blended beautifully.
