A wonderful addition to our Vincent Van Gogh unit! This series has a nice layout that is filled with beautiful pictures, interesting facts, a time-line and glossary; perfect for a biography report or just to familiarize yourself with the featured artist.

Our daughter took this out. In honor of the fine Vincent episode on Doctor Who and our recent trip to the Musee d'Orsay I decided to read this. I was not disappointed.

I know that van Gough was nor famous in his lifetime, but it was a shock to find out that he only sold one painting before he died. Also, van Gough was a restless man, changing his mind often. Very sad.

This book is for teens and preteens.I love the time line. It helped me see how VG's art developed. Also, I enjoyed the black & white photos of the places VG visited and the people he met.One of the best Children books that introduces Van Gogh's biography and work.

This book had alot of information and explained his sadness but I wish it has more emotion in it! Great to learn about his paintings and where he got his inspiration.
