An excellent novel that balances brutal honesty and charm. The writing is remarkable and the story is wonderfully touching. Jesse Wilson is truly an incredible man and it shows through in his writing. Truly worth every minute of the read.

Faces on My Wall was an awesome read!! As a Juilliard graduate myself, I appreciated seeing the training through this character’s lens since it was totally different from my own. It helped me realize and acknowledge that each collaborator has their own valuable story, and sharing crazy moments with different types of people is what collaboration’s about too. I’m looking forward to a continuation of the story, in a Faces on My Wall 2 or something! Thanks for writing. It’s a book every per [...]

I’ve got to be honest here, I almost attended college as a theatre major. Eventually decided to study writing but it was a really close call. So to say that this book hit a little too close to home is a HUGE understatement. I was Jamey Fuller.Faces on My Wall is about a young boy being accepted into Julliard with the full support of family and friends. His girlfriend Mirabel thinks that he is an artistic genius while his commercial director father who wants to make movies and dramatic stage mo [...]

This story is for anyone who wants to attend Juilliard School in NYC or who has the dream of auditioning to any arts school for (or after) university and wants to know one guy felt while going through just that. I am honored to know Jesse Wilson as he is also a theater arts teacher, a violinist, artist and an inventive exciting stage performer as well as a creative writer. If you are interested in the tough humbling career that comes with the dream of doing preforming arts for a living-- if you [...]

As one who loves the performing arts, this book was right up my alley.Whoever thinks the road on making it big in showbiz is easy, needs a wake up call. This book was a great look at what it's really like. Jamey's journey of going to Julliard was harsh, fun and sad all at the same time.I liked Jamey, he's a character that any college guy could most likely relate to. We get a very in-depth look at what classes he takes and his outside of school life is like. He's like anyone else going to college [...]

OUT's ReviewI remember like yesterday, the moment that my drama teacher, Mr. Mascaro, handed me a monologue. Told me to learn it, to feel the characters, to own the piece. I took his advice. I did it. I felt the characters. I was the characters, transformed to someone else. I was in the 9th grade and the rest is history. The arts have been in my blood, my heart, and passed on to students that I've had a hand on. I never went off to college hoping to one day be a famous actress. But what I learne [...]

This book is a good read to inspire students to handle life, and the pursuits that life has in store for people. How you handle the struggles that come with life decisions about school, jobs, friends and situations can change the outcome of life. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
