I'm now reading Sarah Sousa's book for the second time! I've learned a lot about Maine, and I love her use of the English language. Her poetry places the reader in the moment - looking out a window, giving birth, or making one's way through the challenges and rewards of life - but only if we pause and take notice. I just learned about Sousa and absolutely love her poetry! I recommend the read. Get lost in her words!

This is why I love poetry! Sarah's poems are so beautiful and accessable. I can't wait to read her next book, Split the Crow.
