I'm torn as to what to rate this book a 2 or a 3. It was probably somewhere in between for me. I thought the book had an interesting premise. After reading it I still feel like something was missing. More character development, story background I'm not sure. I think it was the character of the mother and her reactions that puzzled me he most.

I thought this novel well written with an original premise. Great characterization in Cate and LesHOWEVER this novel didn't ring true! I felt it was completely unbelievalbled so left me feeling unsatisfied and pondering what a great novel this could have been!

The blurb made this book sound really good, and although I persisted with it, once I reached the end I wished I had followed my instincts and given up when I was about 50 pages in. It wasn't at all what I expected.

This could've been better. It had a promising plot but the execution was a let down. Not entirely awful but lacking that something special.
