Omg!!! Ms. Hayes your killing me!!! Ugh!!! I love these characters and hate them. This whole story is magnificent! I was not expecting to fall for hard for some characters and then you break my heart. Why why why?? I know why because you can!! Hahahaha! I cried and cried!! My heart is hurting for these wonderful faeries. Love Faylinn!!!

Have you ever started a book only to find yourself staying up into the late night because you NEED to know how it ends? This is that kind of book. As the last book in the Faylinn trilogy, I was amazed at the path it took with my emotions. It is just as beautifully written as the previous 2 books but I think Mindy Hayes gave her characters so much passion and feeling that it was the best book in the trilogy. I sobbed, I laughed, I was furious, I was relieved, but mostly, I was glad that I read th [...]

My expectations for this book were pretty high after reading Ember (because- Kai. *swoon*) and this book definitely delivered! Luminary is officially my favorite one of this series <3.Calliope really becomes the amazing Queen we all knew she would be in this one, Sakari managed to worm his way into my heart so much that I felt like I was cheating on Kai (I'M SORRY KAI), and the Faeries reactions to Calliope's human references will never get old.I laughed, I cried multiple times and I kind of [...]

These books deserve everything. Seriously. The story just couldn't keep growing and growing and becoming epic.I'm breathless. My heart is bleeding. And I cant believe its over. There was a moment when I considered the options, the possible outcomes. The outcome was, as one would say, fated. These books are about choices, and becoming what you're supposed to be. But never forgetting the importance of choices. The author created and enchanting world, full of possibilities and did it without forgett [...]

Luminary is the end to something completely magical to me for a lot of reasons. It was a completely beautiful ending to one of the best fairy series out there. Kaleidoscope was also the first indie book that I ever read. I stumbled upon Mindy’s blog in late May of 2013 while researching Vlogs. I watched her Vlog and thought I want to read her writing. Just to my luck she was giving away a copy of Kaleidoscope. I read it in ONE car ride on the way to see my newborn nephew. Mindy does fairies th [...]

I received a copy from the author for a fair review.I was so excited and highly anticipating this final book in Calliope story. After reading Ember I was dying for this book, I was left wanting so bad to find out if Kai would return or fight for her. I also wanted to see if she would fight for those she loved, or would she be pushed into a life she didn't want. This book was everything I wanted and more, I had to wait to write my review and process everything that I felt about it! The book is tak [...]

Perfect The perfect ending to these great books! Wow so many emotions in this book, I didn't think it could be this good. This book made me want to yell in frustration, laugh, and cry and so many times. It was very well written I could feel the love, pain, and suffering of every character. I loved watching each character as they grew stronger and developed through out this story. I'm almost sad it's over. But very happy with this ending. It was original and I recommend this trilogy to anyone who [...]

Loved this series. I really connected with the characters and unlike a lot of other trilogies, I felt the story got better and better as the series went on. My least favorite of the series was book 2, Ember, but all three were good. This series has it all: fantasy, romance, action, magic, betrayal, loyaltyI got the first book in the series as a free Kindle book and it sat on my Kindle for a long time. I can't believe it took me so long to read this one!

This was an amazing conclusion to this journey and just when I thought I knew what I wanted to have happen I changed my mind. I was so shocked my change in feelings and Mindy makes you feel so much in this book. The POVs being from 3 characters changes everything. I cried so hard reading this book and loved it! Definitely the best in the series!Check out my review at: seeingdoubleinneverlandsp

This was one of those series that completely consumes you, you forget about everything else other than finishing it. I laughed, I cried, I fell in love. This is a series that I will come back to again and again, it has affected me deeply. The last books that made me feel this way was The Hunger Games trilogy. Truly amazing read and I strongly urge anyone looking for a captivating book to read these. I am strongly hoping we will get another book, It was so good that I am left wanting more.

Well I am not sure how Mindy Hayes did it, but she made a trilogy where each book was better than the last! The Faylinn series is an amazing ride. Luminary pulled at my heart strings the most. Happy, sad, gleeful, back to sad . It was one heck of an adventure. I look forward to reading her other books Even if they aren't fantasy. :-)

Excellent ending to this series. As always the characters have their highs and lows and for awhile I wasn't sure how the story was going to play out, but it was a perfect ending. Even though it was a perfect ending I wouldn't mind if the author decides to write more to this world. I will understand completely if this is the absolute last though. It was a great run.

you have to read this series. you need to. Mindy Hayes is 100 percent on my must read list for anything now. everytime i thought i figured it out - poof, different path. I'm not even going to give this a proper review because i think it will take away from the book. just read it. (well read the first 1 first, get to here, then you'll get to enjoy Glimmer that comes out in December).

I just loved this series! The first book I got from Book Bube twist in the usual teen-coming-of-age plot got me interested. Then I feel in love with the characters and the land and all the intrigue! I couldn't stop until I read the whole seriesfantastic!

Yes 5 stars. I actually reread the first 2 books, then read Luminary and immediately when I finished it I read it again since I knew what was going to happen I didn't need to hurry to the ending. I enjoyed the love, war, loss and humor in the book. I also like the way it ended.

    19. Erin on said:

I really enjoyed the third book as well. Again some typos that bothered me more than the last book. Great ending, climactic, unpredictable, i felt the characters throughout the whole series were real and not annoying. :) Wish there were more but I'm happy with the ending.

    20. Alyson on said:

The trilogy overall was very fun and creative! I loved that it was totally clean as well. I felt like the characters and story needed more development throughout, which is why I didn't rate any of the books and higher than I did.

A couple predictable parts, and I wish Kai had a bigger roll overall but still a great end to the series.

SO much happens in this book!! It was an absolute rollercoaster but so worth it. The twists and turns, losses and triumphs, all lead up to a breathtakingly beautiful ending.
