If I want a quick read with a sweet story and a guaranteed happy ending then I always turn to Hollis Shiloh. I do wish she would write more of her magical stories though, absolutely love them!

3.5 Stars. A very short, sweet Christmas story in the typical style of Hollis Shiloh. One my my go to authors when I want something with a happy ending.

An itty-bitty sweet short story. Definitely a happy and wistful story about a not-quite-GFY situation. The Christmasy-ness of it was much fun. I would have rated it higher but I hoped for more, longer, fuller. I wanted everything tied up with a Christmas ribbon and I have to say that I was taken by surprise when it wasn't. Still, a worthwhile read and the perfect length for standing in Christmas lines!

I only had a little bit of time to read, and I wanted something I could finish. I am so glad I chose this book to read. It was very short, but I found myself feeling for the characters, and wanting them to succeed far before the story ended. This would be a story I'd be interested in hearing more about the characters and their journey together.

Short & cute. Nothing too deep. Just the start of a love story.

It's very short but it was so hopeful and the whole idea of declaring yourself, well that's scary. And a spice rack for Christmas, that's someone who knows you.
