      This is a great book for upper elementary students. There is historical information about construction toys and also projects for making your own construction items. Some of the projects require adult help and the purchase of specific materials. The materials page shows a picture of each item mentioned, which is helpful. The toys mentioned specifically are Lincoln Logs, Tynker Toys, and LEGOs. There are photos of other building toys from the past, but they are not named.The book includes a table [...]
