I would actually like to give this one 4 1/2 stars. This was such a cool listen. There are so many little nuances that make this book something special. I do have to admit with the main character being female and the narrator being cast a male I didn't know what to think at the beginning but, it definitely did not affect anything and it was actually very well done. You have to love the main characters spunk and randomness throughout the book. At times she had me laughing and at other times had m [...]

Wow! What can I say? I loved it! This is one of the most original books I've come across in a long time. Some of it was very fantastical, think Christopher Moore but not as silly. I would definitely be interested in seeing where this story could lead if it were to continue. I will also say I had to go get crab legs one night while enjoying this book. The seed was planted & my craving took root. Lol Slight spoiler:I just know Sue was pregnant but it was never revealed Narration was excellent! [...]

Fun and easygoing scifi. Reminds me of tvshows like Timeless and Stargate Atlantis. This book is realy easygoing on the sci-part and is clearly intended on "pulp-readers". Fast pased and something new around every corner. The language is alsy "pulp-fiction", intended to be read fast and easy. I can recomend this book to anybody looking for something easy in the time-scifi-part of books.

Time Traveler Chronicles Kindle Editionby Robert Werden I just finished reading this, it is rare for me to finish a novel in a single setting, but the story just pulled me right along! I really enjoyed it, and look forward to the next book in the series. From the jacketEvelyn Carter, a young, struggling video news stringer is recruited to join an elite government-run time travel agency. She and her team travel through time with the public goal of collecting artifacts lost to time and capturing hi [...]

I enjoyed this book. It was much different from the other time travel books I've read. It was much more science fiction with the emphasis on the science. All the travels were done to verify moments in history or recover artifacts. A pod is the means of time travel, and each pod has a captain, engineer and documentarian. We learn that there is a whole different species of humans living below the surface of the earth, and people like us on the surface. We also learn that the below ground species m [...]

What a great book, very well-written and a great storyline. This book kept my interest throughout, and was a good science fiction novel that I would recommend to any sci fi fans. In part, it reminded me of Stargate SG-1, so if you’re a fan of that, you will probably like this, except it’s mostly about time travel rather than going to other planets. To improve it, I would remove the vulgarity of too much swearing. It adds nothing and is a bit distracting. I would also have only metric units us [...]

Time Travel and RisksInteresting tail of time travel and complications of both travel and the effectiveness of science against simple common sense, that saves the earth from destruction. Good pace and character development, but sometimes over simplified. All in all a worthwhile read.

Not your typical time-travel story. I wasn't expecting some of the things that happened in this book. It as creative, entertaining, interesting and very enjoyable. Unusual and bit different from the other time-travel stories I have listened to.It doesn't take long for the story to pull you in. It's constantly moving forward at a good pace. Your never quite sure what is going to happen next. Several of the twists the story took were completely unexpected. Interesting cast of characters with a gre [...]

Interesting story, grammatical errorsI liked the premise of the story. It did require the reader to really suspend belief but that was easyIly overlooked. I did notice many grammatical mistakes - lots of possessives missing the apostrophe, e.g "Carters camera" instead of "Carter's camera". Still, I liked it enough that I will read the sequel.

This was good, not great.Kevin Clay is a nice choice for narrator for this book.In this future we take pods to past events to collect artifacts lost to time. There seems to be little effort to blend in and hurting or killing contemporaries is frowned upon but ok.Full of adventure and a bit of history, it is fast moving and interesting.I was provided this book free by the author, narrator or publisher.

** Review of Audio Format **Love in Space and TimeCarter is a stringer. A stringer captures news on camera and sells the footage to news stations. She has made a decent living doing this since leaving home at 17 to get away from her parents who argued incessantly. Until she captured the news story of a life time. Until she was first on the scene when the time travel pod showed up.Bill is a career officer and completely fulfilled with his mission to collect artifacts, capture time lapse video of [...]

Precious ArtifactsEvelyn Carter, the female lead, joins a time travel agency where her task is collecting lost artifacts. On one mission, she learns something that is so terrifying that it must be kept hidden. This book was well written and filled with frightening secrets and lost artifacts.Overall, a decent read or listen.Kevin Clay did well with the narration as usual.Note:"This audio book was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review."

Good story line but terrible writingThe only reason I read this to the end was because of the story line. The writing, however, was absolutely some of the worst writing I've ever read. No depth, poor sentence structure. The writer did not transport me into this book, like a good book does. A talented author could have really done something great with this story line.

Even though I am the author, I wanted to leave a review for my narrator Kevin Clay. He did an amazing job of bringing my book to life with the spoken word.
