      Another fine book on the worlds of books, book collecting, and book publishing by Nicholas Basbanes. This time around his focus is on the Yale University Press, and by extension, the world of academic publishing in general. As always, Basbanes threads his story with interesting people, and a conversational narrative style that is very easy to read.       N.B please, that this book quite easily meets Mr. Basbanes' usual high authorial standards--i.e. elegant prose, a comprehensively told story, a subtle feel for real-life characters. I gave it four stars because it was not of surpassing interest, unlike his other superb books, to me.

      Hey, how many people ever get to read a history of their very own workplaces. Would have liked more detail about specific notable books, but hey--how much did the darned thing cost me?
