I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book. After the cliffhanger in Book 1 that left me emotionally drained I couldn't wait to read the conclusion and I was not disappointed. Fletcher and Jessica have gone thru so much together. Even with the domestic abuse that she has experienced, Jess is still a strong woman. Fletcher is more supportive than ever and you can see how much he's changed from the first book. He's so protective of Jessica. They were some events that caused a little dr [...]

Oh my heart! Oh Karen Frances, my heart and soul are just bound to Fletch and Jess. I think what amazes me is the passionate fire in both Fletch and Jess. Even with everything going on around them. Be it the fire for each other or the fire to push through life despite all the kinks that get thrown at them. This book starts up right where the first leaves off. You could honestly feel the pain that Jess if feeling while struggling to heal as well as struggle to live with life in the limelight. But [...]

This is the second book in the amazing series, and continues straight on from the cliffy ending in #1. Jess and Fletcher are fabulous together, but with so many trials and tribulations to overcome, will they survive? You really need to read this awesome series for yourself to find out!I am totally in awe of this author’s talent, and I have certainly become a huge fan of her work! This is a beautifully written story, which contains drama, violence, strength, emotions, determination, and most of [...]

I was so glad to receive the second book in this series as the cliffy in book one wrecked me.This book carried off exactly where book one left us and we went in for another emotional ride with Jess and Fletcher. The domestic abuse storyline is a hard read but again I feel that Karen portrayed it in a way to make you emphasise with Jess.I think Karen concluded the love story of Jess and Fletcher in the best way possible. Looking forward to reading more from this author

As the second book in the series this one did not disappoint me. Still as emotional as the first and should definitely be on everyone's TBR list. Fletcher Adams has stolen a piece of my heart, from the moment we met him in book one right through till the end of book 2 he made such an impact on me that I doubt I will ever forget him. The beginning of this book had me an emotional wreck so make sure there are plenty of tissues at hand as you are going to need them. I felt everything Jessica did an [...]

What happens when you think you're at rock bottom but then the final attack on you takes place, not a physical attack but an emotional controlling final action? If you're Jess, you fight. You fight to keep the man who has shown you what it's like to love, respect and work for a future that the both of you want.Sometimes, we will never get the answers to the questions that we're left with. So much happens in this book. Karen Frances isn't just answering the questions left from Playing The Game, sh [...]

Will Jess and Fletcher find their happily ever after……With Book 1 ending with a cliffhanger and leaving us all wanting more this book give us all of that and more. This book takes us on yet another emotional ride through this couples relationship and leaves us wondering will they find their happy ending???Fletcher Adams would move mountains to be with Jess, to protect her, take any stress away and stay right by her side for as long as she lets him. Leading his life as a high profile football [...]

I love this book! Jess and Fletcher are an amazing couple who totally deserve their happily ever after. At the end of the first book, Jess is recovering from the attack by her ex Scott. This book picks up when Fletcher learns what has happened and he rushes home to find Jess hospitalized again. Seeing the damage that Scott has inflicted on her, once again, Fletcher comes to the realization that he can't lose Jess. She has come to mean more to him than any other woman ever has, if only he can forg [...]

Good! This book follows on directly where book 1 ends. I did enjoy this book much better than the first. We got to see Fletcher at his best. His past and family surprises turn up in his life, which shows how soft and caring he actually is. Jess, I still haven't connected with her. I tried to give allowances for her over the top behaviour and insecurities, but I just couldn't take to her. The last couple of chapters and the prologue showed her true side, which would have been good from the start. [...]

A beautifully written love story. Karen really brought the characters of Fletcher (Fletch) Adams and Jessica to life.Picking up where book one left us hanging with Jess badly beaten by her ex and Fletcher is away playing an international game in Italy and out of contact. This book covers the taboo subject of domestic abuse and it was handled with great care so bravo to Karen for that. The couple strive to over the come bad choices they have made in their past; Jess with her ex boyfriend who has b [...]

Omg I loved it!This was the perfect way to end Fletcher and Jess's story. This book picks up right where book one leaves off and it gives us another set of obstacles in this couples way. Fletcher must come to terms with new revelations and Jess must decide if she can deal with life in the spotlight. If you have started this series I suggest that you get to it now!

You never know when it's going to happen, but when it does, it's like magic"Once again Karen has waved her magic wand and delivered an outstanding book.Don't get me wrong, some of the content was a little difficult to read, but at the same time, the topic of domestic violence was given an enormous amount of respect, as it truly deserves. And while there will b [...]

What can I say about this book or the author other than absolutely fantastic! This book carried on where the first left off, which was a truly heartbreaking moment in both books, I can't imagine being abroad and finding out your loved one had been hospitalised by an ex partner, my heart was broken at that point and I was relieved that Jess was strong enough to get through it and it made Fletcher realise that he couldn't live without her! This young couple have already been through so much and th [...]

This was a well written book.I only gave it 4 stars though because there was a bit too much lovey dovey for my taste. but don't get me wrong, this is a good book (just my own preference)

Fletcher and Jessica's story continues with Playing to Win, the second title in the 'A Beautiful Game' series, and sequel to Playing to Win. As Playing to Win ends in a major cliffhanger, it really needs to be read prior to reading Playing to Win. This title picks up where the first book left off. Playing to Win is an emotional read, with a story line that revolves around domestic violence. The focus of the story line may be difficult for some people to read, or not be to their tastes. I will sa [...]
