I didn't have high hopes for this one, but turned out to be very interesting and easy to read. I learned that there were a bunch of fads in the 1930's including: jigsaw puzzles, dance marathons and children's games. There were even recipes added into the book, most sounded disgusting and revolved around "cheap cuts of meat". gross. But a good book, surpassing expectations.
