This is second in the Callahan brothers trilogy by Joann Ross. I liked this one equally as well as the first Blue Bayou. This one in particular focuses on the oldest brother Finn. I really liked Finn, although he was rigid and stubborn. Finn is an FBI agent that has just been suspended for beating up a prisoner that was trying to escape. The same prisoner that he has just spent three very long years chaseing down and arresting. He returnes to his home town of Blue Bayou to hide out for the next [...]

Finn is a macho man and a strong lead. Julia seems like a flake but actually has her sh%t together. Now it's time for little brother Nate to find love in Blue Bayou.

Julia Summers is in Blue Bayou, Louisiana, wrapping up her role on the sizzling soap opera River Road before jetting off to play the part of her dreams. But when she receives an all-too-real threat, her director saddles her with a no-nonsense FBI agent as protection. Free-spirited Julia figures she'll just use her feminine wiles to keep the handsome bodyguard out of her way. Finn Callahan has no interest in baby-sitting a spoiled starlet, but he owes his brother, Blue Bayou's mayor, a favor. Whe [...]

I have really enjoyed these books. Ms. Ross has a way with romance and telling a story with very strong chacters. This book is about Finn, the oldest of the Callahan brothers who was always strong and there for his brothers when their a Dad was killed. He became a FBI agent which really fit his personality until he met Julia Summers. He had been asked by his brother, the mayor, to be her bodyguard while she was in Blue Bayou filming a soap opera. They were completely opposites but sometimes it t [...]

Joann ross is still a very good author and I will read the next book in this trillogy. I thought the story was very suspenseful. I love that ms. ross dedicates her books to the men and women in the milletary.

I loved this book. It has so many things that I love combined in to a novel, there was know way I couldn't fall in love with it. A soap opera, the South, gorgeous men, a little mystery, and a steamy romance. All that equals perfection. I recommend this book and Joann Ross.

I have just finished re-reading this trilogy and it was as good a read as I remembered it to be!

It was okay. There was just a lot going on with a stalker and the serial killer and somehow I just couldn't get really into it.
